Tearaway

TEARAWAYS

These provide temporary support during the embroidery process that is mostly useful on caps and other garments that are stable or on small low cost jobs. They are used with stable woven fabrics such as broadcloth, nylon, canvas and others. There are SOFT and CRISP tearaways. Crisp is made of long and short stabilizers so it tears very easily. It doesn’t stress small delicate stitches when it’s removed.   It tears easily much like paper. SOFT is a cross between cutaway and tearaway and is made of a combination of long and soft fibers so it provides more support than crisp t/away but it can still be torn.
